Serian Tarangire camp
Serian Tarangire camp is a luxury accommodation found within Tanzania’s stunning Tarangire national park. The park is known for its big baobab trees and population of elephants, with the most magnificent views of sunsets and sunrises. The Camp is owned and operated by Acacia Camps, which manages unique and top-rated properties across Tanzania. The camp offers stunning views over the vast African savanna. One can get to the camp from Arusha city by road transport, taking approximately 2-3 hours’ drive, or by a 50 minutes flight to Kuro airstrip, then few minutes’ drive to be transferred to the camp. The camp is convenient for tourists and travelers for safari adventures and relaxation overlooking the beautiful views of the savanna and surrounding areas.
Serian Tarangire camp contains 13 comfortable, elegant en suite tents overlooking the magnificent views of the savannah, built in traditional building styles with high levels of modern comfort. Rooms are well decorated, elevated with raised wooden platforms, and furnished with private en suite facilities like flushing toilets, bathroom with hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, wooden chairs , towel toiletries, complementary bottled water, dressing table, white curtains, and wash basins to mention but a few. Tents have verandas and large sitting areas; you relax while overlooking the stunning view over the Tarangire savannah plains and wildlife visiting the camp and surrounding area. Tents are well equipped with excellent and comfortable queen-sized beds with clean and washed bedding. Tents vary in different sizes, with single beds for individuals, double/twin beds for sharing and triple/family tents. There are bonfires at the camp where guests relax and share experiences about the safari.

Tarangire national park is considered to be the sixth largest park in the country of Tanzania and is found in south east of Manyara national park in the Northern part of Tanzania. The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River that crosses the park and the river is the only source of fresh water for animals in the Tarangire eco system. It occupies the total area of 2,850 KM squared and its 150Km from Arusha. The park is small with twenty-six mammals, famous for large herds of the big five animals like; Buffaloes , elephants, zebras, enlands, Rhinos Impalas ,antelopes, mention a few, and 500 bird species like yellow-necked, helmeted, barbet, starling ,swift ,stripped swallows etc.
