Sanctuary Swala Camp

Sanctuary Swala Camp is located in Tarangire national park which is located in the northern part of Tanzania. The national park consists of giant acacia trees and baobab trees as well as savannah plains. The camp offers an amazing safari experience to guests staying at the lodge in Tanzania.

The lodge consists of 12 luxury canvas with pavilions and also found in the shade of acacia trees. From the rooms at Sanctuary Swala camp, the guests can enjoy seeing the waterhole where wildlife species can be spotted.

Different bird species can be seen around the communal areas at Sanctuary Swala camp and WIFI is also available for guests staying at the lodge and can also be accessed from the guests’ tents.

African textiles are also part of the designs used at Sanctuary Swala camp which has neutral toned interiors, safari chic furnishings. The rooms at the lodge also have king-sized beds, indoor and outdoor showers with bush views.

Meals offered for guests staying at Sanctuary Swala camp include East African meals at the main deck area. Breakfast consists of full English and continental meals which are served early in the morning before the guests engaging in their safari activities.

Lunch at Sanctuary Swala camp can also consist of a picnic basket which are prepared by the lodge and are shared in some of the beautiful spots around Tarangire national park and special sundowners are also organized for guests staying at the lodge.

Drinks can also be enjoyed by guests around the fireplace and dinner at the lodge also consists of a three course meal with dessert which is a favorite among guests staying at the lodge and is known as chocolate Kilimanjaro. Private dinners under the stars can also be arranged by the lodge for the guests.

How to get to Sanctuary Swala camp

Sanctuary Swala camp can be accessed by flight and also be driving from Arusha. Guests can choose to fly from Arusha airport to the lodge which takes about 25 minutes followed by a 45 minute drive to the lodge.

Private charter flights are also offered to Kuro airstrip in Tarangire national park from Arusha. Another way to get to the lodge is by driving from Arusha which offers amazing wildlife viewing through the national park on the way to the lodge.

Rates for the rooms at the camp vary according to adult rates, child rates as well as single supplement rates inclusive of meals, all drinks, laundry and housekeeping, shared game viewing experiences, return transfers to and from the airstrip to the camp and excludes alcoholic drinks, additional activities in the national park such as walking safaris and night game drives, park fees, camping fees, concession fees, staff gratuities items of personal nature, private vehicle and guide, international and domestic flights, road transfers to and from other camps and lodges.

For children staying at the camp, children between the age of 6 to 15 years pay child reduction fees when they share rooms with 2 adults. Children aged up to 15 years of age share rooms with their parents.
