Detailed 7 Days Kibale, Queen Elizabeth and Mgahinga Gorilla Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park, Tea Plantation Visit
Drive Time: Approx. 5.5 hours
Our Uganda safari guide shall pick you from your hotel of stay in Entebbe/Kampala. After a short briefing, proceed for your journey to Kibale Forest National Park. This Park is home to almost 13 primate species. These include red colobus and L’Hoest’s monkey and many more. You will have lunch in Fort Portal. Proceed with the journey to the Kibale forest with an en-route visit of the tea plantations. On a clear day, be sure to take amazing pictures and also learn about the way tea is grown, harvested and proceed to your cup. Dinner and overnight stay at Primates Lodge for Luxury, Chimpundu Lodge for Lower-Luxury, Chimpanzee Forest Lodge for Mid-range, Kibale Forest Lodge for Budget.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking Experience, Bigodi Wetland Swamp
After breakfast, you will set out for chimp tracking within the Kibale Forest. During your search, expect to see a lot of primate species like chimpanzees, monkeys, and other animals like the forest elephants, bush pig and duiker, warthogs, reptiles, and amphibians as well as a colorful variety of butterflies. Return to the Lodge for lunch.
Thereafter, head out for a Bigodi Wetland Swamp visit, to enjoy the scenery as well as the amazing birdlife here. Return to the lodge later for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Game Drive
Drive Time: Approx. 2 hours
After having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have lunch en-route and continue to embark on a game drive in the park, looking out for the various wild game in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Elephant Plains Safari Lodge for Luxury, Mweya Safari Lodge for Lower-Luxury, Elephant Hab Lodge for Mid-range, Bush Lodge for Budget.

Day 4: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive. During the game drive you will be able to spot different animals like elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, Uganda kobs, waterbucks which will be grazing in open savannah plains, view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas which will be looking for a morning hunt, view bird species among others. After the game drive, you will have lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise
After lunch, you will go for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel a water channel that connect lake Edward and lake George. During the boat cruise which takes about 2 to 3 hours, you will be able to view hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks drinking water along the shores, view water birds like hornbills, cormorants, fish eagles, king fisher’s among others. After the boat ride, you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Batwa Experience
Drive Time: Approx. 4.5 hours
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and meet your guide for a transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, home to one very interesting gorilla family! Enjoy scenic sweeping views en-route, punctuated with a lunch stop. Enjoy a cultural encounter of the Batwa who are a local community that previously inhabited the park. Proceed to the lodge thereafter; relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Mgahinga Gorilla Lodge for Luxury, Lake Mutanda Safari Lodge for Lower-Luxury, Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge for Mid-range, Lake Chahafi Resort for Budget.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Experience
After breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed for your gorilla trekking activity in the impenetrable forest, which is home to the gorillas. You will spend about 1 hour with the gorillas after trekking through the forest in search of the gorillas. You will also enjoy taking photos of the gorillas and you will later return to the briefing point where you will meet your guide and be driven back to your lodge.
You will have an optional community tour to interact with the Batwa community and get to know about their ways of life and their cultures. Dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 7: Departure
Drive Time: Approx. 9 hours. Flight Option Available
After breakfast, check out and proceed on a transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe with en-route stops at the Equator, lunch and rest stops, as you may need, should you have time.
