Tarangire National Park is famous for huge herds of elephants and great baobab trees towering in the park, while Serengeti National Park is famous for the big 5 animals, beautiful scenery and the great wildebeest migration experience.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
You will start your safari with pick up at the airport, upon your arrival. You will transfer to your hotel for check in. Depending on your time of arrival, you will engage in a tour around Arusha and later return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Runako Lodge (Budget), Tulia Boutique Hotel (Mid-range).
Day 2: Tarangire National Park Game Drive
After having breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be driven to Tarangire National Park which is found in the northern part of Tanzania. Tarangire National Park is known for having large herds of elephants as well as ancient baobab trees.
You will check in at your lodge in Tarangire national park as you prepare for lunch and also an afternoon game drive. During your game drive in the national park, you will see wildlife species such as gazelles, impalas, zebras, waterbucks among others as well as the various bird species which this national park is known for and your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Karatu Tented Lodge (Budget), Eileen’s Tree Inn (Mid-range)

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Serengeti national park which is also located in the northern part of Tanzania. You will enjoy seeing wildlife species such as the big 5 during your safari in the national park.
You will have lunch after checking in your lodge in the national park. You will also engage in an evening game to see wildlife species such as zebras, lions, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, elands, impalas, antelopes among others. Dinner and overnight will be at Ikoma Tented Camp (Budget), Osinon Camp (Mid-range)

Day 4&5: Full day in Serengeti National Park
You will start your day with breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park as you prepare for your morning game drive. You will also enjoy seeing a variety of wildlife species which are very active during the morning and can be seen grazing around the national park.
After your morning game drive, you will have lunch and later engage in another game drive and enjoy looking out for wildlife species grazing in the open savannah of Serengeti national park like elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, impalas, gazelles, buffalos, elands, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos among others. You will have dinner and overnight at Ikoma Tented Camp (Budget), Osinon Camp (Mid-range)

Day 6: Departure
After having breakfast, your guide will drive you to Arusha whilst enjoying yet another game drive in Serengeti and drop you off at the airport or your hotel in Arusha which will mark the end of your 6 Days Tanzania safari.
