5 days Tarangire and Serengeti balloon safari
5 days Tarangire and Serengeti balloon safari is a tour which will start in Arusha and you will visit parks such as Serengeti national park and Tarangire national park during the safari.
You will also engage in game drives and a hot air balloon safari during your tour around Serengeti national park and the safari will end in Arusha.
Day 1; pick up and drive to Tarangire national park
On the 1st day of your 5 days Tarangire and Serengeti balloon safari, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or the airport and your guide will welcome you for the safari. You will be driven to Tarangire national park where you will engage in a game drive around the destination in search of various wildlife species.
During your tour of Tarangire national park, you will search for elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, antelopes among others and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2; morning and afternoon game drives
After having breakfast you will start your full day tour around Tarangire national park with a morning game drive as you look out for elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, waterbucks, impalas and other wildlife species. You will also enjoy seeing baobab trees as you explore the national park.
You will have lunch and engage in another game drive in Tarangire national park as you enjoy seeing attractions like Tarangire river. After the tour, your guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3; Tarangire to Serengeti national park
Your breakfast will be served at your lodge ahead of your drive to Serengeti national park. You will explore the central part of Serengeti national park which is home to numerous wildlife species such as elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, waterbucks, kudu, impalas, hippos, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, dik dik among others.
After the game drive, your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4; hot air balloon safari and game drives
On the 4th day of your 5 days Tarangire and Serengeti balloon safari,you will engage in a hot air balloon safari as early as before dawn as you enjoy the beautiful views over the vast savannah plains of Serengeti. Depending on the time of your visit to the park, you will enjoy seeing herds of wildebeests in the plains below as well as other wildlife species like giraffes, elephants, lions, antelopes, zebras among others.
After the hot air balloon ride, your guide will pick you up and you will engage in a game drive around the Seronera area in search of more wildlife species. You will be driven back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5; departure
After having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Arusha and drop you off at the airport or your hotel which will bring the safari to an end.
