5 days Manyara and Serengeti safari will take you across the diverse scenery in Lake Manyara national park to the vast savannah plains and acacia woodlands of Serengeti national park to the Ngorongoro crater area.
During the 5 days Manyara and Serengeti safari, your guide will drive you around the destinations as you look out for different wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, kudu, gazelles, wildebeests, hippos, cheetahs, hyenas among others.
You will engage in morning, afternoon and full day game drives as you visit the different destinations in the northern part of Tanzania during the 5 days Manyara and Serengeti safari which will start and end with drop off in Arusha on the last day.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1; pick up and drive to Lake Manyara national park
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and welcome you for your safari. On the 1st day of your 5 days Manyara and Serengeti safari, you will visit Lake Manyara national park which is home of tree climbing lions and many other wildlife species. You will be driven to the national park with a stop in Mto wa mbu town where you will see local arts and crafts and also interact with the locals. You will continue to your lodge for check in and also lunch.
After having lunch you will engage in a game drive to explore the diverse scenery in Lake Manyara national park in search of wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, hippos, antelopes, waterbucks, zebras, monkeys, baboons among others. You will also see attractions like Lake Manyara where flamingos and other bird species can be spotted along the lake shores. You will alter return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Nsya lodge.
Day 2; drive to Serengeti national park
After having breakfast at your lodge and checking out of the lodge, you will continue your journey to Serengeti national park. You will look out for different wildlife species as you explore the savannah and woodlands in the national park in search of wildlife species like elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, zebras, antelopes, hippos, giraffes, gazelles, impalas among others.
You will check in at your lodge and also have lunch before later engaging in a game drive in Serengeti national park. Your dinner and overnight will be at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 3; full day in Serengeti national park
On the 3rd day of your safari, you will spend your day exploring Serengeti national park for a full day in search of different wildlife species. You will engage in a morning game drive as you look out for predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs as well as elephants, hippos, giraffes, antelopes, impalas, gazelles, kudu, waterbucks, wildebeests, hyenas among others. You will have lunch after your morning game drive.
You will also engage in an afternoon game drive during your safari as you look out for different wildlife species and enjoy the beautiful scenery at the destination. Your guide will drive you to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and overngiht at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 4; Ngorongoro crater tour
You will have breakfast and check out of your lodge ahead of your drive from Serengeti national park to Ngorongoro crater. You will explore the world’s largest unfilled volcanic caldera which is home to numerous wildlife species during your game drive. You will descend about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater in search of wildlife species such as hippos, rhinos, leopards, lions, buffalos, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, kudu, waterbucks, hartebeests, hyenas, warthogs among others. You will also have lunch during your safari.
As you explore the Ngorongoro crater floor, you will also see flamingos around the shores of Lake Magadi in the crater. Your guide will later drive you back to your lodge after your wildlife viewing experience for dinner and overnight at Hhando coffee lodge.
Day 5; drive to Arusha
You will have breakfast before checking out of your lodge and your guide will pick you up from the lodge and drive you to Arusha where you will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel in Arusha which will bring your safari to an end.
