Detailed Itinerary of 4 Days Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater and Ndutu Migration Safari
Day 1: Pickup, Tarangire National Park Game Drive.
Drive Time: Approx. 2.5 hours
Our Tanzania safari guide shall pick you from your hotel of stay in Arusha at 7am and proceed on a transfer to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park Tanzania is famous for the large herds of elephants, many baobab trees, and is also home to 4 of the 5 big 5 animals most sought after by travelers on an African safari.
Once in the park, enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park looking out for the different attractions of the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch, and more game viewing thereafter. Animals in Tarangire National Park to look out for include herds of elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, giraffes, hartebeests, zebras, and so much more.
Proceed later to transfer to your lodge. Check in; relax as you wait for a sumptuous hot dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Transfer to Ndutu (Southern Serengeti where animals are abundant then)
Wake up to a hot breakfast at the lodge. With your packed lunch, drive into Ngorongoro Conservation and descend to the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater inhabits well over 25,000 animals including all the big 5 animals, making it the best place to see all the big 5 animals in Tanzania, if you are lucky. Apart from the big 5 Tanzania animals (lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos), other animals in Ngorongoro to look out for include wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, elands, impalas, gazelles, waterbucks, hartebeests among others.
Enjoy your picnic lunch at a select area in the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Look out for more wildlife, including the pink flamingos on Lake Magadi found in the Ngorongoro Crater, other birds, and just the sheer beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater Area, as you leave this beautiful “Garden of Eden” as referred to as by many before.
Proceed to drive to Ndutu Area, still looking out for wild game for you shall be traversing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area still. Take in the beautiful landscape whenever possible, all the while getting the most important knowledge about the area and its people from our local Tanzania safari guide. Once in Ndutu, proceed to your camp, check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Migration Game Drive in Ndutu
On this 3rd day of your 4 Days Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater and Ndutu Migration Safari, enjoy an early breakfast and with your lunch boxes, head out for a full day of exploring the southern plains of the Serengeti National Park, chasing the migration! Watch the action of it all; the calving, the almost-immmediate walking of the calves, lurking predators and if lucky, predator action! With your knowledgeable guide, be sure to enjoy an unforgettable game viewing experience in Ndutu, punctuated with a picnic lunch stop.
Chase the sunset later as you return to the camp, taking in the amazing scenic landscape and wild game. Relax at the camp, enjoy dinner and retire for the night at the camp.

Day 4: Departure
