3 days Serengeti big 5 safari is a wildlife viewing experience which will start in Arusha and also involve a safari experience in Serengeti national park which is the oldest national park in Tanzania.
You will enjoy game drives as you explore Serengeti national park at different times of day such as in the morning and in the afternoon as you search for wildlife species such as the big 5 such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos among others like wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, impalas, kudu, giraffes, kudu, gazelles, hippos, cheetahs and many others.
Serengeti national park is also known for the wildebeest migration which is the annual movement of over 1.5 million wildebeests across the savannah. Predators can also be spotted during this migration. The national park is also made up of southern plains, western Serengeti and northern Serengeti which can be visited during safaris.
Your safari will also end with drop off by your guide in Arusha.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1; pick up and drive to Serengeti national park
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha on the 1st day of your Serengeti safari and welcome you for your safari. You will also have a short briefing about the safari before driving to Serengeti national park which is home to different wildlife species like the big 5 such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos and other wildlife species like wildebeests, antelopes, giraffes, zebras, kudu, impalas, waterbucks among others. After checking in at your lodge in the national park, you will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge and dinner and overnight will be at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 2; full day in Serengeti national park
After having breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park, you will spend the 2nd day of your Serengeti safari exploring the vast savannah plains in search of wildlife species and also enjoying the beautiful views around the national park. You will also look out for wildlife species such as elephants, wildebeests, cheetahs, lions, buffalos, leopards, antelopes, zebras, impalas, hippos, kudu among others during your morning game drive. You will also have lunch after your morning game drive.
You will engage in another game drive in the afternoon around Serengeti national park and look out for more wildlife species in the savannah and acacia woodlands. You will explore the central part of the national park known as Seronera area which is home to numerous wildlife species. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 3; drive to Arusha
You will have breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park before checking out of the lodge on the last day of your safari. Your guide will drive you to Arusha where you will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel in Arusha which will bring the 3 days Serengeti safari to an end.
