3 Days Ngorongoro and Tarangire Wildlife Safari is a safari to the famous Ngorongoro crater and also Tarangire national park for amazing wildlife viewing experiences which also involves engaging in various wildlife viewing activities.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1; pick up and drive to Tarangire national park

You will be picked up from the airport by your guide or at your hotel in Arusha and you will be briefed shortly about your 3 days Ngorongoro and Tarangire safari. After you have been briefed, you will proceed to Tarangire national park for a game drive and to explore the different attractions in the national park like Tarangire river which flows through the national park.

You will have your lunch at your lodge in Tarangire national park after checking in and after lunch, you will engage in an afternoon game drive during which you will see various wildlife species such as elephant herds, cheetahs, leopards, zebras, generuks, antelopes as well as a variety of bird species. You will be driven back to your lodge after the experience for dinner and to spend the night at Tarangire Roika lodge.

Day 2; morning game drive and drive to Ngorongoro crater

After having breakfast at your lodge in Tarangire national park on the 2nd day of your 3 days Ngorongoro and Tarangire safari, you will have a morning game drive in Tarangire national park to enjoy seeing wildlife species which are very active in the morning such as elephants, lions, zebras, leopards and many others. You will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for more wildlife viewing experiences on your safari.

You will enjoy a guided walking safari during your 3 Days Ngorongoro and Tarangire Wildlife Safari and also enjoy views around the crater rim. You will have dinner and spend the night at Hhando coffee lodge.

Day 3: Departure

On the last day of your 3 Days Ngorongoro and Tarangire Wildlife Safari, you will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare to descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater where you will enjoy a game drive and see various wildlife species like elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, elands, impalas, antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, warthogs, hyenas and many others. you will also enjoy seeing attractions like Lake Magadi which has flocks of flamingos along its shores as you explore the Ngorongoro crater. You will be driven to Arusha where your guide will drop you off at the airport or at your hotel in Arusha which will bring your safari to an end.
