Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Ngorongoro conservation area

On the first day of this short 2 Days Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara Safari, you shall be picked up from the airport or your lodge of stay by a guide who will brief you about the safari. Thereafter, you shall embark on your journey to transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area which is a drive of 5-6 hours. Ngorongoro conservation area is one of the most picturesque tourist destinations in Africa with a beautiful crater as the highlight. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is also a home to the African big five and many animals such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, hartebeests, wildebeests, zebras, warthogs and many more.

Upon your arrival in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will check into your lodge, have lunch and then descend to the crater for a crater game drive. While on the crater game drive, you shall see many animals such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, hartebeests, wildebeests, zebras, warthogs, hippopotamus, jackals, cheetahs, spotted hyenas and many more. You shall also visit Lake Magadi situated in the southern corner of Ngorongoro Conservation Area, on the lake you will spot flamingoes and hippopotamus playing in the waters of the park. After enjoying your crater game drive and immersing in the scenic views of the Ngorongoro Crater, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro crater- Lake Manyara national park

On the second day of your short 2 Days Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara safari, you will transfer to Lake Manyara National Park and have a game drive. The day shall start with an early rise early in the morning and then enjoy your breakfast at the lodge, and thereafter proceed to checkout of your lodge and proceed for a transfer to Lake Manyara National Park which is a drive of 2-3 hours. Lake Manyara National Park is a great habitat for many animals such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, hartebeests, wildebeests and a high concentration of birds including flamingoes which crowd the shores of Lake Manyara.

Upon your arrival in Lake Manyara national park you will go for a game drive, on the game drive you will enjoy sights of many animals such as lions, leopards, hartebeest, antelopes, spotted hyenas and many more. You will also visit Lake Manyara where you will enjoy the colorful view of a ray of pink and many birds such as flamingoes. After the game drive you will have lunch and exit the park and then drive to Arusha, in Arusha you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport for departure.
