2 Days Mount Kilimanjaro Trek
2 Days Mount Kilimanjaro Trek /Hike : This two-day hike is perfect for those who don’t have a strong desire to climb Mount Kilimanjaro but still want to enjoy hiking and camping there. It leads to the Mandara Huts at 2700 meters via the Marangu trail, which is a rather simple path. Here, before obtaining a restful night’s sleep to recover from the hike, you can take in the starry African sky and the sounds of the surrounding wildlife.
The following day, you have the option of continuing your trek to the 3700-meter Horombo Huts (only advised for seasoned hikers) or staying at the Mandara Huts to unwind and get ready for the descent. To proceed to Horombo requires getting up early to climb, take in the breathtaking views, and then descend to get to Mandara by lunchtime. You begin your journey back to the starting place to complete this amazing adventure after lunch.
Wear sturdy footwear because the mountain’s route is littered with sharp stones that could easily cause you to trip. Additionally, a sweater is advised because it can get chilly at high elevations. Additionally, be prepared with your camera because you won’t want to leave without capturing the breathtaking vistas on camera.
You can begin this tour at any day of the year on any of the short treks, which are all offered on a private basis. The short hikes give hikers the chance to experience the thrill of ascending Africa’s tallest peak but are designed for those for whom reaching the summit is not a “must do.” Short hikes are only permitted on the Marangu path, and all trekking inside the Tanzania National Park requires the assistance of a licensed Kilimanjaro guide. You will stay at the park huts if you go on an overnight hike.
